A Wedding Dove Release
Usually booked by the Bride and Groom, often booked by parents who wish to surprise their sons and daughters on their wedding day, sometimes booked by friends for a beautiful, memorable and unique wedding gift.....either way, the Doves will provide a memorable and meaningful addition to the celebrations.
Often done immediately after the ceremony, the dove release will follow a speech or poem which will enlighten and delight your guests for sure.
You can hold the Doves which will create some lovely images for your album, or release straight from the baskets, which when captured taking flight the images are spectacular.
The White Dove is pure in its appearance and represents Love, Peace, Hope and Fidelity.
Once these Doves chose a partner, they stay together for life which is very symbolic given the vows you have just taken to love each other for life. They have a great capacity to provide for their family, and the intelligence and heart to move on should the unimaginable happen to their partner. Some Dove release companies will romanticise this by saying they only mate with one partner for life. This is not true, they will move on, but only after the demise of their partner. This is where they are symbolic of fidelity; there is no need to exaggerate the truth here, it is wonderful that they stay faithful "as long as ye both shall live" but are not left lonely and broken hearted for long should the worst happen!
Your cages and baskets will be decorated to match your wedding colours, or are just as beautiful in all white or ivory - just ask your supplier.
It is important that the baskets and cages used are suitable to display the birds, and better for you if you are able to see the Doves clearly through the cages.
